Snack Bar!
Here's a picture of Audrey, Sarah and Maria in our snack bar. Just out of the left side of the picture is our monster popper. No, we don't use the new 'fad' oils & the like. Our popcorn is made like Grandpa made it... and our customers like it just fine!

Kitchen 1
Here are Kathy and Jeni, our resident pizza experts. In the back of the picture is our new cotton candy machine. Making cotton candy was Jack's main and just about his only function in the kitchen for much of the 1996 season. This year, Jeni, Kathy and Sheila have discovered the joy of making the stuff, so Jack is once again banned from the kitchen. Thank goodness nobody has kicked him out of the booth (yet!).

Kitchen 2
In this picture, Kathy fastidiously finesses french fries for the famished families. In a previous version of this page I had said "Kathy mans the fryer"... but she quickly pointed out that it wasn't PC to say that... and that women don't "man" anything anymore. (Sigh...) Anyway... we were fortunate to find a full restaurant grill and hood installation here when we bought the place. We added the fryer a couple of years later. All food items are cooked when ordered. This might lower the volume of food we turn out, but everything is fresh & the customers seem to like it that way. We turn out a LOT of pizza, burgers, fries, corn dogs, mozarella sticks, etc.!

Chef Jaques
Since I'm not allowed in the kitchen much anymore, I figured it would be a good thing to chronicle the rare instance where my presence was actually needed! Well... it wasn't during the show... it was Cheryl's birthday party. We hosted some 25 guests that day. This picture was taken as I cooked up a LOT of burgers, fries and chicken patties for the famished masses!

Hey Look... the Rodeo Drive-In is on the Internet!
(totally unstaged pose!)

Duck Shot
Kerri thought we should add this picture. We regularly get ducks, geese and deer in our back fields.
