MovieWEB MovieWEB has previews to the hottest movies. Each movie has its own web page which lets you download movie pictures, movie posters, production notes, Quicktime videos (of the theatrical movie trailer) and as much information about the cast & synopsis of the film which is currently available from the studios.
Entertainment Data Find out how your favorite films did at the boxoffice. EDI tracks movie performance across the country. Lots of good info here.
The American Drive-In This site is dedicated generally to a new book by Don Sanders which you might be interested in looking into. Also included are pictures of drive-ins from across the country and general memorabilia for sale.
Tim Thompson's Drive-In Page Another good database of drive-ins, related news old theatre ads and links of interest.
Brad Light's Drive-In Workshop A site featuring 'design and build' aspects and history. If you want to know how to build a drive-in, this is the place to start.

The American Widescreen Museum This site chronicles advances in the technology of visual exhibition. You'll find histories of CinemaScope, Vista Vision, Todd-AO, Cinerama and more.
Cinerama Drive-In The Century Drive-In in Inglewood Ca. (Pacific Theatres) was one of the very few (or perhaps the only one) to show true 3-projector Cinerama outdoors. In 1964 it showed 3 Cinerama features during the summer with the projectors mounted on flatbed trucks. It wasn't a huge success, but an interesting story. In this page, you'll notice that the theatre owners are a bit more optimistic about drive-in Cinerama's potential than may have been prudent! This particular drive-in closed and was demolished somewhere in '83 or '84. (supporting info from Evil Sam's Drive-In Theatre Guide)
